The Nitapat Family Restaurant was located at 829 West Main, Geneva. It opened in 1947 and was heavily advertised to GOTL guests.
The restaurant was owned by Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Pattison, and the business name taken from their nicknames.
Juanita Pattison was known as “Nita” while the husband was known as “Pat.”
Originally from Cleveland, the Pattisons came to Geneva following the war, during which C.H. Pattison served in the U.S. Marines.
Mrs. Pattison had extensive restaurant experience in Vermont and Cleveland.
