George R. Hagler (1953-2015), was a disc jockey for a disco band at the Castaway and the first black councilman of Geneva-on-the-Lake.
Mr. Hagler was born Sept. 2, 1953, in Geneva, the son of George and Rener B. Deans Hagler.
H was a machinist for International Paper of Madison and delivered mail for the Geneva Post Office. He was a member and deacon of the Living Word Christian Center of Madison.
Mr. Hagler was married to Kathleen, and they had seven children and, as of the time of his passing, 19 grandchildren.
