The Redwing excursion boat was owned by Clarence Hoskins. A Sept. 4, 1913, newspaper article noted that upon the closing of The New Inn, owned by G. H. Swan, on Sept. 15, Mr. Swan and a number of his employees would take a fishing trip across the lake to Port Rowen, Canada.
